Who We Are Fighting

First, I want to be clear. I am posting this link not because I want to make you think that every Muslim would do this...but I do want you to know that any practicing, Koran-believing Muslim that wants "allah" to be pleased with them thinks this is okay. I say that because since September 11, 2001, we have not had any major group of Muslims come forward and denounce what is being done in their "religion's" name. Now I do think there are Muslims that claim to be Muslims and do not really know what they are talking about, just as there are people who walk around claiming to be a Christian and they do not know what they are talking about. Not every Muslim is a bad person based upon that last sentence. But any Muslim that does this type of thing, that condones this type of thing...yeah, they are bad. We are all "bad"...but it is Jesus Christ that saves us. We all need to be saved, but only Jesus Christ can save us. Muslims are worshipping the devil. Anyone in their right mind cannot actually believe that a God who created us in His image would want this done to another person.

Before you go to that link, let me warn you that I could not watch it all. I can't get the image out of my mind either and, actually, wish that I hadn't seen what little bit that I did see! But as people go on and on about what is torture and what is not, we need to keep in mind who we are fighting. Folks, no matter what "side" you are on, Democrat or Republic, Independent or none of the above, we are all Americans and these people want to destroy our way of life! We must come together as Americans and we must defeat this enemy. I will go so far as to say that all mosques in this country should be torn down and any Muslim that will not swear allegiance to this country and go through some sort of re-education against this ideology of hate (because it is not a religion), needs to go to a Muslim country and live their life there. And, if you think that is mean, or they don't want to go, then both should think why that is... I am so glad I am an American.
I praise God that He allowed me to be born in this country. I praise God that He sent His Son to die on the cross for my sins! To tell you the truth, I am so happy that salvation is a free gift...that all I have to do to be saved is to accept a free gift. Because honestly, if it was up to me...I'm afraid I would never be quite good enough, would procrastinate until it was too late to "do" whatever it took, would never quite make it. So thank you God for sending your Son to die for me...to die for the reader of this blog...to die for anyone out there who is willing to profess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God did send His Son for us.
If you don't understand who we are fighting and you did watch that clip...I don't know what will move you to understand that water boarding, as "rough" as it might be, is not torture. It is enhanced interrogation techniques. We are at war, and war is hell...well, not quite as bad as hell--but close enough for this world.
